Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Overview

This Refund & Cancellation Policy ("Policy") applies to paid subscriptions to FAB Doctor, operated by FAB Doctor ("we", "us" or "our"). It should be read together with our Terms of Service. By subscribing to the Service, you agree to this Policy.

2. Free Trial

Where we offer a free trial, you may evaluate the Service during the trial period without charge. If you do not start a paid subscription, you will not be charged. Any data added during a trial may be deleted if the trial ends without an active subscription.

3. Cancellation

• You may cancel your subscription at any time before the next renewal, without penalty.
• Cancellation stops automatic renewal. Your access continues until the end of the billing cycle you have already paid for, after which it ends.
• Fees already paid for the current cycle are not refunded on cancellation, except as set out in Section 5.

4. General No-Refund Position

Subscription fees are charged in advance for each billing cycle (monthly or annual) and are generally non-refundable. We do not provide refunds or credits for partial billing periods, unused time, downgrades, or periods of account inactivity.

5. Limited Refund Eligibility

We will review refund requests, and may issue a refund or credit at our reasonable discretion, only in the following situations:

• Duplicate or erroneous charge: you were charged more than once for the same subscription, or charged in error, due to a technical or billing fault.
• Billing after timely cancellation: you were charged for a renewal after you had already cancelled in accordance with this Policy.
• Prolonged service outage: a verified, continuous failure of the Service attributable to us that lasts more than five (5) consecutive business days, in which case we may provide a pro-rated credit or refund for the affected period.

6. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be issued for, among other things: change of mind; failure to use the Service; user error; downgrades or plan changes; account inactivity; issues caused by your own devices, networks or third-party services; or suspension or termination resulting from a breach of our Terms of Service.

7. Plan Changes

Upgrades take effect immediately, and the applicable difference is charged for the remainder of the current cycle or at the next renewal, as indicated at the time of upgrade. Downgrades take effect from the next billing cycle, with no proration or refund for the current cycle.

8. Data Access After Cancellation

Following cancellation or termination, you may export your data for a limited period (ordinarily up to 30 days). After that period, data may be deleted or anonymised in accordance with our Privacy Policy, unless longer retention is required by law.

9. How to Request a Refund or Cancel

To cancel your subscription or request a refund, contact us at [email protected] from your registered email address, including:

• your registered account / email;
• the invoice or transaction ID; and
• the reason for the request.

10. Processing Timeline

We aim to acknowledge refund requests within two to four business days. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within seven to ten business days. The time for the amount to reflect in your account depends on your payment provider or bank. Applicable taxes (such as GST) are handled in accordance with law.

11. Disputed Transactions

If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us first so we can investigate and resolve it promptly. Raising a chargeback without contacting us may delay resolution.

12. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The revised version will be posted here with an updated "Last updated" date and will apply to subscriptions and renewals from its effective date.
